Description

Alocasia amazonica – African mask plant, crocodile plant, kris plant

DESCRIPTION: Exotic foliage plant with elephant ear-like leaves and contrasting white veins. This compact variety is perfect indoors in pots

USES: Popular houseplant ideal in a brightly coloured pot for colour balance. Suited to underplanting in tropical gardens

PLANTING: Plant in a shaded location with plenty of filtered light or indirect sunlight

CARE: Water regularly during the first 12 weeks or until the plant is established. Apply liquid fertiliser at half rate every 4 weeks for best results. Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up. Regular light watering and a daily spritz with water for indoor plants will keep them looking lush. Foliage may die back during the cooler months when plants become dormant. Avoid feeding and heavy watering again until plants develop new leaves. Repot during spring only if plants become rootbound, this is the ideal time to remove and repot any young shoots which have sprouted. Protect from frost

HEIGHT & WIDTH: 27cm H x 15cm W

Self-Watering Pot
The large self-watering pot creates a perfect habitat for bigger plants such as Arrowhead, African Violet and Peace Lily. It can also be used when plants outgrow the small pot and need to be re-potted.

CUP O FLORA® is an award-winning self-watering glass pot that allows the plant self-absorb water through a wick from the outer bowl. Unlike other self-watering products, the pot’s clear design makes it easy to gauge the water level.
